JOIN US AS WE The Music Ministry Music plays an important role in the life and worship of the Trinity faith community. A variety of music groups makes it possible to present many types and styles of music for our worship experiences. The Music Ministry also presents special seasonal music during the church year, as well as concert performances for the entertainment of our church family and local community. THE CHANCEL CHOIR This choir provides music for the 10:30 AM Sunday traditional service. The group rehearses every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 PM in the choir room. The voicing for the choir is Soprano, Alto Tenor, and Bass. Membership in the choir is open to anyone from high school to adult, who has an ability and a desire to sing. THE MENS CHOIR: TRINITY BEAUS The "Beaus" rehearse on Thursday evening, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the choir room. The voicing for this group is: Tenor, Baritone, and Bass, in combinations such as, TTB, TBB, & TTBB. Membership in this choir is open to males from high school, through adult. The Beaus perform during the worship service several times during the year and are also featured in our concert programs. |
THE TRINITY BELLES The Belles, a women's ensemble, rehearse on Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 PM in the choir room. The group is directed by former Trinity Music Director, Jane Faruga. This ensemble periodically performs at worship services. The Belles are also featured in our concert programs. They also perform for outside organizations throughout the community. Women interested in becoming a member of the Belles should contact Jane Faruga, through the church office. THE TRINITY TOLLERS - HANDBELL CHOIR The Handbell choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. This ensemble performs during worship services several times during the year by themselves, or with other ensembles. Membership is open to highs school students and adults.

THE TRINITY ORCHESTRA The orchestra rehearses on Tuesday evenings, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM in the choir room. This group performs for the worship service several times a year, by itself, and also with the Chancel choir. The orchestra is also featured at concert performances. Often, various instruments are used in combination with the other ensembles. Membership in the orchestra is open to instrumentalists from middle school to adults. String players (violin, viola, cello, bass), Woodwind players (flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones), Brass players ((trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone horn, and tuba), and percussionists are encouraged to participate in the orchestra.

"SPIN-OFF" ENSEMBLES. Various small ensembles, such as, duets, trios, quartets, etc. are often formed from the large ensembles, for special music or special performances. These groups add a very special quality to any worship service. SONSHINE CHOIR For children 1 - 4, rehearsals are held twice a month during the Sunday School hour. The children sing in church once a month, except during the summer. This experience is designed for fun and learning. Parents interested in enrolling their children should contact Bobbie Cap. SONBEAM CHOIR For pre- and kindergarten children, rehersals are during Sunday School class. The children sing in church during holiday or other special Sundays. Parents interested in enrolling their children should contact Bobbie Cap. |
