Welcome to the Web Site for Trinity United Methodist Church, Grand Island, New York. We are a site "currently under construction", as they say. Some of us are new to this and ask your patience as we begin. But, hopefully, you can glean information and links from these pages that will be useful to you.
A community church has many purposes. For some, the church is the central location for friendship and fellowship. For others, it provides Christian education and so passes on the rudiments of the Christian tradition to new generations. For still others, church is source of pastoral care. For many, church is a place to worship or a place in which to participate in worship. And finally, the church is a place from which to change the world. Taken together, the church in all its many dimensions nurtures the spiritual life.
I believe our core purpose at Trinity Church is to help persons develop their Christian identity. This is a life-long process, always "under construction." I invite you to share with us in the journey.
